Najstarsza część Frankfurtu z historycznymi zabytkami rozciąga się w pobliżu północnego brzegu rzeki Men. Centrum Starego Miasta stanowi Römerberg - plac ratuszowy, tętniący życiem przez całą dobę, a szczególnie wieczorami.
The oldest part of Frankfurt with historical monuments extends near the north bank of the River Main. The old city center is Römerberg - Town Hall Square, a lively around the clock, especially in the evenings.
Naprzeciw stoi Römer - ratusz, wewnątrz, którego można zwiedzić Kaisersaal (Sala Cesarska). Dawniej pełniła funkcję sali koronacyjnej, obecnie turyści, za niewielką opłatą 2 €, mogą w niej oglądać galerię z portretami 52 niemieckich cesarzy. W budynku mieści się także biuro informacji turystycznej.
On the opposite side stands Römer - town hall, inside which you can visit the Kaisersaal (Imperial Hall). Formerly he served as the coronation hall, now the tourists, for a small fee € 2, can watch the gallery with portraits of 52 German emperors. In the building there is also a tourist information.

Warto przejść nim na drugą stronę i pospacerować wzdłuż rzeki bardzo ładną promenadą Schaumainkai, z której podziwiać możemy olbrzymie wieżowce. Panoramę tę można także oglądać z łodzi wycieczkowych.

It's worth it to go to the other side and walk along the river very nice promenade Schaumainkai, from which you can admire the huge skyscrapers. The panorama that you can also watch the boats cruise.

Główną ulicą handlową i najpopularniejszym deptakiem jest Zeil, zwykle pełen ludzi. Łatwo, więc w tym tłumie natknąć się na malarzy, śpiewaków, przebierańców i kuglarzy prezentujących swój talent.

The main shopping street and the most popular pedestrian street is Zeil, usually full of people. Here you can meet painters, singers, jugglers and costumed presenting their talent.

The airport is located 12 km south-west of the city center. It has two terminals with a train connection between them. Next to the port is Fernbahnhof train station, with domestic and international connections. The airport also has excellent transport links with Frankfurt city center.
