El Palmar

El Palmar to urocze miasteczko położone nad brzegiem rezerwatu przyrody Albufera, zaledwie kilka kilometrów od Walencji. Miasto przecinają kanały, a w okolicy znajdują się pola ryżowe.

El Palmar is a charming town located on the banks of the Albufera Nature Reserve, just a few kilometers from Valencia. The city crosses several canals and there are rice fields nearby.

W samym mieście polecam zjeść lokalną Paellę, a następnie wybrać się na rejs łodzią po jeziorze.

In the city itself, I recommend to eat the local Paella, and then take a boat trip on the lake.

Podczas rejsu macie okazję podziwiać różnorodną roślinność oraz wiele gatunków ptaków. Na powyższym zdjęciu widać też urokliwy kościół położony nad brzegiem jeziora w sąsiedztwie dwóch palm.

During the cruise you will have the opportunity to admire a variety of vegetation, as well as many many species of birds. In the above picture you can also see a charming church located on the shore of the lake in the vicinity of two palm trees.

W oddali widać górzyste tereny oraz wybrzeże Walencji.

In the distance you can see the hills areas and the coast of Valencia.

Rejs może być zorganizowany dla dwóch osób, natomiast my wybraliśmy opcję ekonomiczną. Przy 5ciu czy 6ciu rejsowiczach cena za osobę to ok. 4 euro.

Dokonywanie wcześniejszej rezerwacji na rejs jest właściwie zbędne, bo organizatorów rejsów jest dużo i nawet sami podchodzą do turystów oferując rejs, podają godzinę startu rejsu i cenę przy danej ilości osób. Sam rejs trwał ok 40-50 minut.

The cruise can be organized for two people, but we chose the economic version. At 5 or 6 passengers, the price per person is approx. 4 euros.
Making an earlier reservation for a cruise is actually unnecessary, because the organizers of cruises are a lot and even approach the tourists themselves by offering a cruise, they give the start time of the cruise and the price for a given number of people. The cruise itself lasted about 40-50 minutes.

El Palmar polecam wszystkim, którzy chcą odpocząć od zgiełgu miasta, zrelaksować się na łonie natury, zrobić zdjęcia. Do El Palmar dojedziecie z Walencji w ok. pół godziny autobusem podmiejskim (bilet ok. 1,50e). Po zwiedzaniu zatłoczonej Barcelony i Walencji przyjazd do El Palmar i rejs statkiem to był strzał w dziesiątkę!

I recommend El Palmar to everyone who wants to relax from the whirlwind of the city, relax in the bosom of nature, take pictures. You can get to El Palmar from Valencia in about half an hour by commuter bus (ticket about 1.50e). This was one of the highlights of our holidays. The boat trip was so enjoyable. After visiting Barcelona and Valencia, coming to El Palmar was a good choice!
