Ronda

Wzgórza Andaluzji usiane są białymi wioskami i miasteczkami tzw. pueblos blancos. Leżą one na terenie gór Sierra de Grazalema oraz Parque Natural de la Sierra de Grazalema. Białe miasteczka są do siebie podobne. Prosta zabudowa, białe ściany, czerwone dachy i zieleń okolicznych wzgórz tworzą piękny i fascynujący widok. Jednym z takich miast jest Ronda z niesamowitym mostem Puente Nuevo.

The Andalusian hills are dotted with white villages and towns called pueblos blancos. They're located in the Sierra de Grazalema and Parque Natural de la Sierra de Grazalema. White towns are similar to each other. Simple buildings, white walls, red roofs and the greenery of the surrounding create a beautiful and fascinating view. One of such cities is Ronda with the amazing Puente Nuevo bridge.

Ronda is a picturesque town located in the southern part of Spain, in the province of Malaga. It's 130 km from Seville and 100 km from Malaga. Around the town spread beautiful views of the mountains.

Puente Nuevo

Główną atrakcją Rondy jest XVIII-wieczny most Puente Nuevo (Nowy Most) o wysokości 120 m. Konstrukcja łączy dwa brzegi pionowego wąwozu El Tajo, którym płynie rzeka Guadalevin. Most jest oświetlony w nocy. Robi niesamowite wrażenie.

The main attraction of Ronda is the 18th century Puente Nuevo bridge (New Bridge) with a height of 120 m. The structure connects two edges of the vertical gorge El Tajo, which runs the Guadalevin River. The bridge is illuminated at night. It makes an amazing impression.

Warto zejść w dół wąwozu szlakiem na punkt widokowy Mirador La Hoya del Tajo, by zobaczyć most z nieco innej perspektywy.

It is worth going down the gorge along the trail to the Mirador La Hoya del Tajo, to see the bridge from a different perspective.

Casas colgadas - to kamienice po obu stronach wąwozu El Tajo, przylegające do jego krawędzi.

W pobliżu mostu znajduje się punkt widokowy Mirador de Ronda, z którego roztaczają się piękne widoki na otaczające miasto góry.

Near the bridge there's the Mirador de Ronda viewpoint, from which there're beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Plaza de Torros

Warto odwiedzić XVIII-wieczną, najstarszą w Hiszpanii arenę walki byków. Nosi ona imię Pedra Romero, torreadora, który jako pierwszy zmierzył się z bykiem walcząc na stojąco. Można tu zobaczyć arenę, stajnię oraz jedno z najlepszych w Hiszpanii muzeów poświęconych walkom z bykami.

It is worth visiting the 18th century, the oldest bullring in Spain. It bears the name of Pedro Romero, the bullfighter who was the first to face the bull while standing up. You can see the arena, stable and one of the best museums in Spain dedicated to fighting bulls.

Casa del Rey Moro (Dom Mauretańskiego Króla) XVIII-wieczna rezydencja zbudowana na fundamentach z czasów arabskich. Wnętrza nie są dostępne dla turystów, ale można zwiedzić ogród. Znajduje się tu podziemne przejście (schody), które prowadzi w dół rzeki. Na dole z tarasu widokowego można podziwiać piętrzące się ściany wąwozu Tajo.

Casa del Rey Moro (House of the Moorish King) 18th century residence built on the foundations of Arab times. Interiors aren't available for tourists, but you can visit the garden. There's an underground passage (stairs) that leads down the river. At the bottom of the observation deck you can admire the walls of the Tajo gorge.

Banos Arabes - łaźnie arabskie pochodzące z XIII w., najlepiej zachowane w całej Hiszpanii.

Iglesia de Santa Maria la Mayor - XVI-wieczny kościół wznoszący się na placu Plaza Duquesa de Parcent. To połączenie stylu mauretańskiego, gotyckiego i renesansowego. Wstęp kosztuje 2 euro i pozwala na zwiedzenie wnętrza i wejście na wieżę, z której widać piękną panoramę.

Iglesia de Santa Maria la Mayor - 17th century church towering on Plaza Duquesa de Parcent. It's a combination of Moorish, Gothic and Renaissance styles. Admission ticket costs 2 euros and allows you to visit the interior and entrance to the tower, from which you can see a beautiful panorama.

Popularny plac w Rondzie otoczony pięknymi budynkami. Wyróżnia się biało-żółtym kościołem Iglesia del Socorro. W centrum znajduje się fontanna - herb Andaluzji.
